women and men of many shapes, sizes and predilections. Headquartered in Falmouth on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, customers have enthusiastically embraced our philosophy of superior personalized service and top quality products, since our origins in 1991 as a small, home-based business. Our line is now available at a growing number of outlets, and the Real Bodies NetStore has been online since 1995.
Real Bodies creates its styles and materials in Bali, Indonesia. The artisans there provide a vast selection of gorgeous fabric designs and colors to satisfy a wide range of tastes and styles. Images of flowers, dragonflies, sea life, birds, stars, animals and symbols are skillfully blended into colorful bolts of fabric to be used in our garments. Our Indonesian staff consists of expert tailors and seamstresses from Java and Bali, most of who have been with us since the beginning. The atmosphere is like that of a close-knit family, and we strive to provide a generous and fair wage to all the dedicated folks over there who continue to make Real Bodies possible by sharing their skills with us throughout all these years. Getting to be almost 2 years old now, Rutsayna (Ruth) is the daughter of our oldest son Morgan and his beautiful wife Putu Krista. "Rootsie" joins her older brother Jerry in Ubud, Bali, where Morgan coordinates manufacturing with Wirata and Nyoman, the owners of our Bali facility.
